This is Penny.
She's my absolutely breath-taking sister-in-law. In just a couple of short weeks, Penny is going to be married. I can't wait to celebrate along her side!
In the meantime, I don't think I ever got a chance to show you Penny's Bridal Shower. It was a rather joyous and beautiful occasion.
This here is Penny and her girls and a very excited mom.
Penny's/Jon's mom switched places with me so I could take a pic with the ladies too. They're a happy rowdy bunch.
And here's the excited bride! Ain't she puuurrrrty?
The tables wewre decorated with pictures of Tim and Penny. This one is from Jon's and my wedding.
And here's another one in the flower pot. What a cute idea!
And this is the view from the windows of the restaurant we were at. Which is about 2 minutes walking distance from Penny's and Tim's house. I love this area.
And this is the Maid of Honor. She organized a game where we all had to describe what Penny was wearing after we spent a couple of hours with her. I didn't win. I guess I am not very observant.
And this is Penny's soon to be sister-in-law, Tim's sister. She did win, but not this game.
And here are some presents for Penny to open.
I love Bridal Showers. I'll have to show you the many faces of Penny as she opens her gifts, but we'll save that for another time.
My Mother’s House

(Shout out to all the 90’s youth group kids who got the title reference to
“My Father’s House” praise song. You know you were doing the hand motions,

TNT and I had a co-ed wedding shower. Each guest brought their favorite recipe and the container that you make it in. We got all types of cookware that is awesome. One lady wrapped up a pizza box with a menu inside. The card said, "for the night Carrie doesn't want to cook." There was also gift cards to that pizza place. It was pretty neat idea.
