Jon and I have been putting together the baby room, starting from the closet and random items here and there. A couple of days ago we purchased the area rug for the baby room.
And I've been poking my head in every couple of hours, checking in on...actually, I'm not sure what. I guess I just like to poke my head in and see that it's still a baby room.
Then I found myself spending a few minutes here and there, just poking around, touching the clothes in the closet, moving her little shoes around, or just reorganizing items in the room.
Sometimes I just spend 10 or 20 minutes sitting in the middle of the room, taking it all in.
Jon found me sitting around here the other day. He laughed at me. I don't think he gets it. To be honest, I'm not sure that I get it. Something just keeps drawing me in.
I guess this is what they call nesting?

I love the area rug and your outfit! You are one of those women that are absolutely adorable when pregnant. I'm so excited for you two. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the above comment! And, Chris keeps saying he can't wait for nesting to kick in. The neat freak in him can't wait for some company.
ReplyDeleteI recently stumbled upon your blog from reading Kelly's. I'm 20 weeks pregnant and just started working on our nursery. I love that area rug. Where did you find it? Also, what does your nursery bedding look like?
ReplyDeleteThe rug is fabulous. Very chic for a baby room.
ReplyDeleteTrendy rug and trendy momma!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the little on the way! I'm a new twitter and GFC follower from the hop! Please consider following me back

That rug is super cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute room! The rug is great - at first, I thought you were sitting in a sea of coins!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really special time in your life. Enjoy it!
That's so cute! I wish I could do that. . . because I know I would totally veg out in the baby room and daydream the day away if I could. But I can't.
ReplyDeleteWe are trying to keep the baby room a guest room for a couple more weeks until my brother and sister-in-law come to visit. Then it's ON!!
Until then I just peek in and occasionally wander into her closet and peer at her clothes (all two of them) on the hanger. ::Sigh::
