So we're officially in the last month. The home stretch.
36 weeks |
It's just crazy how the past 9 months feel like the longest and shortest 9 months of my life.
A bit about Peanut:
She's probably over 6 lbs and between 19 and 22 inches, the size of a watermelon. Funny enough that's about what my belly looks like these days anyways.
Although I've been told that she will move around less now that she's bigger, Peanut missed that memo. She loves kicking, punching, twirling, and generally sticking various limbs out.
And some stuff about me:
My belly button is now almost completely an outtie while it started out as an innie. Still no stretch marks, so I'm a happy camper. I do, however, feel like a beached whale. That's pregnant. And ready to go.
On that note, Jon and I are almost ready for Peanut's arrival. We've packed about 80% of the overnight bag and 100% of Peanut's bag (we ended up packing both outfits along with a "Just Born" onesie). We've also packed up the dogs for their getaway at a friend's house. I've made a chain phone list so we can call a couple of people and they'll spread the news. Oh and we think we finished our "birth plan," while really, we have no clue what to expect or how we will feel.
We still have to install the car seats, pack the rest of the bag and put it in the car, bring the dog stuff to my friend's house, and get our insurance information together.
I can't believe that she's almost here.
You look absolutely radiant! Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Cannot wait to see pictures of peanut! Enjoy the last little bit of time you have as just the two of you :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome belly :) Havent been blogging in awhile (catching up on DT projects). I hope you guys have a wonderful christmas :)
ReplyDeleteYou are glowing! Merry Christmas week to you and John and Peanut!
ReplyDeleteYou do look great! Especially loving the scarf and hair!
ReplyDeleteCongrats and Merry Christmas! The last month is um something to remember, just saying...
ReplyDeleteAnd for the belly what works like a miracle jergens collegen one and the firming one with maderma. I mixed them together and works better than any cocoa butter that I ever wasted $ on. I had 3 c sections, 1 other surgery and a hand surgery, worked every time. I just had another hand surgery 2 weeks ago and will do it again lol. I hate scars/marks. only one I can't get rid of is a burn one, but its mostly gone finally.
You look GREAT and its getting so close!!! Everyone said the last few weeks were the slowest, but for us it was the last few days, past my due date that we had to wait! So she will be here before you know it! Have a wonderful Christmas!!!
