- After you spend the past 9 months admiring your new gorgeous, strong, long nails, you cut them off below your finger tips to make sure you don't scratch the baby
- You've traded in Coke rewards for Pampers Gifts to Grow
- One and half hour movie takes approximately 2-3 days to watch (if you're lucky enough to even finish it)
- Your "morning" cup of coffee is still sitting, half full and cold on the table at 4pm
- In addition to the couch pillows, your living room now sports nursing pillows, spit up clothes, receiving blankets, a couple of pacifiers, and a few infant toys
- You get more excited about the baby's "accidental" smile than you do about...well, pretty much anything else
- On that note, the baby rolling over (she did it twice this morning!) feels like your own accomplishment and you spend all morning jumping around, clapping
- Your husband sings everything he is thinking out loud to the baby...and for the first time it doesn't annoy you
But you know what? I'm loving every moment of it.
A challenge for you guys- are you a mom? Make your own "You know you're a mom when..." list and link up before the end of the week! I'll feature my favorite ones next week.

PS- Please put the direct link to your post, not your blog.

ReplyDeleteLove your photos... so precious!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE gifts to grow points :-) Just got a Starbuck's gift card from them haha. I like that Pampers understand that a well caffeinated mom is a happy mom, and a happy mom means a happier baby :-P
ReplyDeleteha...my favorite was the coffee one! i'll have to think of some, I'm sure I can think of some good ones....but they were probably better when he was younger. Congrats on the new baby!
ReplyDeletelove it! I was just thinking this morning about the half full coffee. I was looking at my half eaten bowl of oatmeal and my coffee on the table, KNOWing they would never be finished!
ReplyDeleteI recently started following your blog (which I love by the way!). I found you through Katie over at Marriage Confessions. Congratulations on becoming a new mom! I just had my first baby a month ago today and everything you said in this post sounds SO familiar :)
ReplyDeleteI too make a pot of coffee every morning in the hopes of finishing a few cups and in the end only get a few sips. Such a bummer that all that goodness goes to waist!
Beautiful little bundle you've got there! Love all the pictures you've been posting! You and your man look so happy and I'm very happy for you.
