Oh motherhood

I'd love to tell you that I am off doing something fabulous and that's why I haven't posted but this is the real reason:

So that's what I've been doing this week.  Hello, dear week 6.  I hope you end really soon.  I want my little smiling Peanut back.

  1. Bless her heart. That reminds me of a post from right after we got to Japan.

  2. Glad you've been busy and I don't have to feel terribly guilty for not talking to you! One of my best friends that gave birth on Friday just emailed apologizing for disappearing, too. Pshaw! More important things in life! Hope she's smiling again soon!

  5. hang in there! she will be through this phase and onto the next sooner than you know it!! Anne Margaret went through a screaming phase at around this time and I think I nursed her for what seemed like around the clock. it was crazy annoying, but helped the constant crying...then within a few days she was over it. maybe its a growth spurt??

  6. I feel your pain, girl! Only Katie started at about 3 weeks and mellowed out at about 8 weeks. Of course there were still smiles and happy times in between but that doesn't make it any easier to see the tears. Hang in there! It'll get better!!
