The Cricut. I bet that you're wondering what that is. And the best thing would be for me to tell you. But honestly, the easiest way for you to learn is to visit their site: www.cricut.com and watch a short video.
Basically, the Cricut is a personal cutter that lets you use a bunch of cartridges and cut out whatever you want on whatever paper you choose. I'm a really good explainer, ya see. Also, I make up my own words. A lot. I should have probably started by saying that the Cricut is for Scrapbooking. If you're a serious scrapbooker, you want one. Then again, you probably already know what it is and I'm just wasting my breath (or rather getting carpal tunnel).
Anyways! Here is where I was going with all this. Yesterday, I decided to take some pictures of Laura's and my scrapbook layouts to replace the existing ones on our website (www.madeofmemories.com) because I got a new camera. And the difference between our pre-Cricut days versus now is amazing. PS- like mentioned in previous post, I really still have no idea what I'm doing with the camera so this is all a learning process. aka, stop judging. I can see it in your beady little eyes.
So, without further ado, here are the pre-Cricut samples:
Now don't get me wrong, they're still good. I mean really good. PPS- I also enjoy tooting my own horn. Are you judging again? Do we need to have a serious talk?
And here are some samples of pages made since Cricut:
So yeah, it's pretty amazing. If you're a serious scrapbooker and are thinking about taking it to the next level, I seriously recommend looking into it.
PPS- I'm not getting paid for this. Still. Dang it.

Hi! I'm stopping by from the Marriage Confessions blog. Although I have been scrapbooking for 6 years, I recently just got a Cricut myself. I LOVE mine! :) Stop by my site anytime, it's always nice to meet a fellow scrapbooker! :)
