Girlfriends and good sushi

This weekend I am in Boston, visiting my girlfriends.  My bestie, Inna, is having her first baby with her wonderful husband this spring and her sister, our other best friend, and I are throwing her a baby shower.  It's our first baby shower, so we're all a little nervous and VERY excited.

But this isn't about the shower yet.  This is about your best girlfriends and good sushi.

When I was a teenager, I wasn't big into sushi.  In fact, I was a pretty picky eater in general.  By the time I got to college, I started experimenting more and more with food and now I would try almost everything once and enjoy pretty much any food.  However, sushi has become my ultimate favorite.

And then I moved to CT.  Central CT.  Where the sushi choices are limited and, honestly, not up to par with my taste.  Boston sushi remains one of my favorites.

This brings me to my girlfriends and sushi.  My two besties, Inna and Kerry, are also huge sushi fans.  In fact, all three of us are huge food fans.  Any weekend that involves the three of us usually involves some intense food eating plans.  Most of these plans include sushi.  This particular weekend was planned around Privus, an AMAZING sushi place in Allston, MA.  Their selection is what makes this place great, allowing us to get some of the most unusual combinations that taste so good!

But the point of this post isn't about great girlfriend or great sushi.  It's about girlfriends and good sushi together.  The best part about going out to sushi with your two besties is sharing.  We all order a number of sushi that is attractive to all of us and then we all share!  No one counts the sushi, but we're always fair.  No one complains about ordering something, instead we all try something new.

Girlfriends and good sushi make an amazing combination.

And then we all do the happy sushi dance.  If you are a huge fan of sushi, you'll know what it is.  If you don't, I suggest you find something you love as much as we love sushi.
