Better than that - we got through it with flying colors!
The drop off went well and aside from a couple of tears on the way to the daycare and on the way to work, I kept it together.
Dropping Peanut off went great - she seemed totally fine when I handed her over to the day care lady.
And because she seemed ok, I was ok.
We went over a couple of details and left quickly before I had a breakdown.
And contrary to what I thought would happen, I was ok the entire day! I didn't even call the daycare once!
I did stop by at lunch to see her and when she was totally happy the entire time I hung out there, it made me feel really good.

Side note: that probably won't happen.
Another side note: I still missed her like crazy today and will probably miss her like crazy every single day.

ReplyDeleteThat is wonderful! Glad to hear. I've been reading many of your posts through email (and love them!) but I fail to have missed why you have to go back to work so soon. I consider myself lucky that I got over a year with both of my kids, since I get summers off.
