So I'm trying to make the most of it.
Yesterday Peanut and I spent most of the morning cuddling in bed.
Then we smiled at each other for an hour or so.
Then we took a nap.
Then we got dressed and went out to lunch.
We even met a friend with her baby girl.
We all ate some Chinese food (well, Peanut didn't).
Followed by lots of playtime.
And some more playtime.
I'm going to miss my days with Peanut.

ReplyDeleteThat´s really sad! Over here (Germany) you have (at least) 6 months maternity leave. SIL is still at home, little Niece was born August 21st.

ReplyDeleteNo way around it...going back to work stinks. I just did it, too. It's terribly hard at first but gets a little easier each day. You'll have lots of people thinking of you! Soak her up this last week!
