Today started like any other day. Peanut and I cuddled in bed for a while, then got dressed and got on with our day.
Since the Northeast hates me and wants me to have absolutely no fun, it was pouring the entire day.
So Peanut and I made our own fun. But not before pooping through an entire outfit (2 onesies and a pair of pants). So we had to change.
We found our hands.
And celebrated.
We enjoyed some belly time.
Then pooped all over that outfit too.
So we changed and hung out.
And when we got tired,
We took a nap.
While mommy did some laundry.
When we woke up, we pooped again.
And laughed at mommy's expense.
And when daddy got home, we played with the pups.
2 more days of maternity leave left...what will tomorrow bring?

Oh my lord... I want another baby. You are making my baby fever kick into high gear. Also, I NEED that kitty cat outfit. Never mind that I don't have a baby yet and am not even pregnant. NEEEEEDDD!!!!
ReplyDeleteShe is cute in every outfit! And I love those pictures of her and the dogs, they look like they are so good with her. I hope you fully enjoy the next two days!

ReplyDeleteUgh. . . I totally feel your pain. Yesterday my little diva, Miss Kate, made two outfit changes for a grand total of 3 outfits for the day. Thanks to poop and spit-up, I'm keeping the baby detergent companies in business!
ReplyDeleteLOL :-D
She's adorable! I love all her outfits. I need that pink one for Emma. She has those blue and brown polka dotted pj's!
ReplyDeleteI do more baby laundry than my own! I know the feeling.
I hear you Kat! My only consolation is that you were at home, I've had at least two explosions where a change of clothes has been needed while at other peoples houses. In one case I'd forgotten a spare outfit and had to borrow from my friends little boy! When I started maternity leave my husband said, if you keep on top of the laundry and plan (but not necessarily cook) dinner I'll do housework on the weekend. Its not going well, there is a huge backlog of laundry and last night I rang and made him pick up dinner on the way home cause I'd forgotten about it, oh well!
ReplyDeletehow can I get an adult sized version of the cat outfit? I think I need it. Also, it would scare the crap out of Bungee.
ReplyDeleteWell...I washed a huge load of baby clothes yesterday as prep... Still, feeling for ya! (And laughing at Sara's kitten outfit compulsion.)
ReplyDeleteI love that second picture! So cute!!! Sound like you are up to your ears in poop! YUCK!!!
ReplyDeleteShe is such a cutie... Oh my. Even with all the pooping. :-) (I suppose that's something that babies DO, right?)
ReplyDeleteSo ironic that I am doing laundry while reading this too! Only mine isn't covered in baby poop! :) Hope you have a relaxing time with the rest of your leave!
ReplyDeleteThat stack of laundry is HUGE!!!!!! OMG! And that black outfit is so stinking adorable I can't even handle it!
