You all get a huge treat tonight. Not only do you get to see my smiling face and Jon's, well, not really smiling, face and an extra post; but you also get to hear the difference in English and Russian animal sounds.
In case you're not sure what this is all about, check out this original post.
(Oh, and make sure you're sitting down and not drinking water...or other beverages that you don't want to spit out).
HAHAHAHA! There should have been some acting out of animals here. Jon doesn't look as excited about this as you do! We should have filmed our bloggy meet up at this point. :)
this was hilarious. It's kind of awesome Jon was keeping such a straight face, what a good husband. Your Russian accent really comes through too, helps with making the animal noises :-)
This was hilarious! I was hoping you'd post a video, I was having a hard time sounding out the Russian words from your post yesterday. I think you're right on the money with the rooster, but I think English gets the horse :)
and that was awesome. i just made my entire office watch it...and then i showed off Peanut a bit! She is the cutest little thing ever! oh, this is also the first time i could hear your slight Russian accent! on all the other videos i could never tell! love it and mad props to Jon for doing this with you! i dont think i could pay my hubby enough to get him to do one...heck, he wont even read my blog!!!
LOL! I have tears in my eyes! Too funny! You two are such good sports! But in all fairness, now that I hear them both, animals sound nothing like Russian or English! :-D
KAT & JON!!!! You made my day heck my whole week! This is so funny. I had to pass it on to my sister!!! Tears are rolling. Jon looks like really I'm doing this? AWESOME POST!!!!!!!
I think we should all think of more animals that we'd like to hear sounds for!

ReplyDeleteOMG this is hilarious! I love the different sounds, but the fact that Jon is so calm and you are so giggly makes it extra funny.
ReplyDeleteIs the cat sound the same in Russian and English?
What versions of these sounds will you teach your little one?
That made my evening! Particularly loved Jon's reaction to the Russian horse noise!

ReplyDeleteSo funny!! The horse is definitely my favorite.
ReplyDeleteSo funny. The Russian rooster noise sounds just like the French pronounce it - coke-oh-ree-ko. :)
ReplyDeleteI love hearing you say horse - you sound a little like my grandmother (who's Ukrainian). :)
Hilarious! I love this!! The Russian animal sounds are nothing like what I expected, but I can see it. Thanks (to Jon, too!)!
