Babies on the brain

It's been long overdue so I won't bore you with any chitchat and just post the pictures.  My best friend and her husband just welcomed the arrival of their first-born child and the future recipient of lots of hugs, kisses, and gifts from his "auntie".

Why, hello there gorgeous!

Okay, I know that I am a bit biased here, but is he not the cutest?

Here is the proud daddy with his newborn.  Doesn't he look so happy?

I got to hold him too!  Umm, hello baby fever?  I'm pretty sure that Jon's hiding somewhere right now, doing his best to avoid me at all costs.

So I considered trying to hide him in my bag and sneak him out in hopes that my best friend might forget that she was carrying him in her belly all this time and just be happy that I suddenly had one, but they have these totally awesome bracelets that stop you from doing that.  They set off alarms, lock all the doors, and catch you pretty quickly.  That did not appeal to me.

This daddy's smiling face is also a pretty good deterrent.  How could I ever think to separate the two of them?  It's like love at first site.

My oh my.  Someone save me.  I love this child.

  2. I know how this feels... If my husband says one more time "are you SURE you want kids?" when we see a child misbehave I may bludgeon him! YES I want babies and when they misbehave I'm sending them to Daddy!
